Strings is magnificent romance story on the website Storybird that truly gave the wonderful feels. Before I go on to blabber how well written and deep the story is, I should probably explain what Strings is about.
Young Charlotte Cassidy has the ability to see strings tied from one heart to another, making them soul mates. Charlotte realized this was an actual ability she had ever since her parents divorce. She seen happy couples at times with strings connecting them,together. Her parents were quite the opposite to that. She confirmed it. She could see strings connecting one soulmate to another.
"Well," you may ask,"if she can others soul mates, then what is hers?" Oh dear reader, you won't find out until you read the book. I will tell you this though. The guy she loves isn't connected to her, but to someone else. The summary GreenPanda62 wrote just got me hooked.
Charlotte Cassidy has an ability. She can see strings from one heart to another, connecting soul mates. The problem? She's fallen for her best friend, who doesn't have a string from his heart to hers.

The author themselves certainly know what storytelling is. Unlike some authors on the internet with stories of characters with strange abilities, the author remembers to show how Charlotte's gift is not just about her, but also the ones around her. And oh does GreenPanda62 take advantage of that, which certainly helps a ton with character development.
Not only is the story amazing and heart wrenching, it has an awesome inspiration. Strings is based on a Chinese myth where two lovers are tied together by string by the tip of their pinky. The string can twist, tangle and stretch, but never break. Well that is a "TWIST"! I'll show myself out. But if your a fan girl for gay couples, here is an explanation that gay couples work just the same as any other cute couple. No sexuality discrimination here!
My last words about strings is to go ahead and read. I'm truly surprise there isn't a mini fandom from the internet story yet. It is that good, I promise you that!Here, I can make things easy for you by making this sentence a link! The book is complete, and recently a sequel just came out, so I would check that out to when your done. I hope you enjoy the book.
